5 axis machining capability has been brought in, by the addition of tilting rotary table from UCAM India in the BFW vertical machining centre to the Productivity Institute at the IMTMA Technology Centre, Bengaluru.
The main specifications of the table are:
Dia of table: 200 mm.
Tilting angle: -20 to +110 degrees.
Load capacity: 80 Kg
This addition will enable IMTMA to demonstrate complex machining of parts dealt in automotive, aerospace and medical applications in various training programs.
